  • Exact dimensions and configuration of the ceiling are taken and input into specially designed software.  This program will calculate the exact pattern of the canvas, including corners and extensions.  It will also calculate the shrinkage that will provide a uniform finish.
  • The manufacturer cuts the product to the specifications and welds fasteners to the edges to secure the ceiling.  This should take about two weeks.
  • Professionals use lasers to be sure the finished product is level.  They will install metal devices called profiles to which the welded fasteners attach.  The profiles are made in a variety of sizes and shapes so any type of design element can be handled.
  • Appropriate openings and brackets are installed to accommodate lights, fire sprinklers, heating and cooling vents and any other mechanical systems.
  • The ceiling is hung and uniformly heated to create a tight seal.
  • The fasteners are aligned and connected to the profiles.  This is completed in a specific order to avoid any folds or sags.
  • As the canvas cools, it will shrink to fit the space in a smooth, level manner.  Reinforcement rings are attached to the surface to prevent any distortions that may have occurred during the formation of the openings for air vents, lighting, etc.
  • Finally a ceiling plug is installed around the perimeter of the ceiling.
